Life's Twists and Turns...

Have you ever had the feeling that life is offering up something more exquisite just around the corner? Can you guess that I have this feeling at the moment? It is the end of winter where I live in Australia and my garden is trying to make a stand with growing fruit and vegetables. My jasmine plants are trying to bloom.

For the past 20 years, I thought once empty nest had settled in I would feel lost, forlorn… I am sure you get my drift. I have dreaded this time in my life always. In truth I am finding life is beginning. More accurately, it is twisting and turning and the view looks so different to what I had imagined turning 50 would look like. Next year isn’t looking daunting at all…lol.

If I had to define the change of my life in one word it would be “excited”. I feel excited and expectant. One cannot predict what the day will bring but gee it is a good feeling knowing that my Creator is looking out and planning such a beautiful future for me. There is a word that Joy is in the Morning…so let tomorrow come!
